On October, 30th 2025 we conducted a workshop for testing of enhanced BlueBoat functionality at Auster Freibad. This large outdoor public swimming pool is located in the western part of the city of Graz. Its bassins are closed for swimmers during the winter break. We are greatly thankful to the pool operator team of Holding Graz Freizeit for this opportunity!

In the course of the workshop, we successfully tested automatic path planning and optimized operations of the BlueBoat. Practical tests at Auster Freibad proved to be much more efficient than travelling to a lake and still, we could try out so much more functionality than in the lab. As our tests at Auster Freibad went so smoothly, we are already very much looking forward to our next day there!
